envida has recently begun teaming up with the Assisted Living Experience in Colorado Springs to transport residents to a restaurant of their choice once a month. Last month, the group chose Old Chicago! We wonder... where will the group pick for their next outing? envida is on a mission to help individuals remain independent and connected to their communities. ![]()
If your facility requires transportation for events, we'd love to hear from you. We have a wide range of vehicles, many of which are ADA-accessible to accommodate people of varying abilities.![]()

In January, we rolled out our On-Demand Pilot Program which allows selected participants to schedule same-day rides, similar to the service provided by Uber and Lyft. This program was made possible by the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center NADTC and the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments. ![]()
This week, a representative from NADTC visited us from Washington, D.C., to see the program in action. A few of our participants (pictured below) used the program to get coffee at Jives in Old Colorado City. We hope this program will make our transit service even better for our riders across the Pikes Peak region!![]()

We wanted to thank Pikes Peak United Way and their volunteers for stopping by our office to listen to our presentation in support of our grant application to improve the lives of individuals in our community. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about who envida is and how we are an essential service for so many in the community. Here’s a photo of the group that joined us this week!![]()

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 8th, marks the final day of "Direct Care Worker Appreciation Week" as proclaimed by Colorado's Governor Jared Polis. As we go into the weekend, envida is thinking about all the direct care workers we have in our workforce (nearly 120 of them!) who ensure that people of varying needs and abilities receive care and support. ![]()
To our direct care workers, we’d like to say: "Thank you for your hard work and commitment to our clients, especially during the height of the pandemic. It has not gone unnoticed."![]()
In Colorado alone, there are 60,000 direct care workers who provide care and assistance with activities of daily living to more than 70,000 people who receive long-term care services and support in their homes, host homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. These direct care workers play a vital role in ensuring Coloradans receive the care that they need to live a vibrant and full life. Please join us in celebrating our direct care workers, and read the full proclamation.![]()

Did you know? March 18 was "National Transit Driver Appreciation Day." We owe a world of thanks to all transit drivers, and this month we want to especially thank our drivers, who ensure the safety and transportation of our clients every day. We appreciate their hard work and dedication to envida's mission of promoting access and supporting independent living with dignity.![]()
This is Rebecca Webb, one of our drivers. She has driven for envida for a little more than a year. When asked what she enjoys most about working for envida, Rebecca said "My clients are like family. I enjoy helping people and making a difference." Please join us in thanking Rebecca for her service to our community across the Pikes Peak region.![]()
