2025 Homecare Satisfaction Survey – Summary

Each year, envida surveys our homecare clients to gather valuable feedback about our services. This feedback helps envida improve homecare services for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Respondents rated envida’s homecare services 4.6 out of 5 stars, a nearly perfect rating. This reflects strong client satisfaction and our commitment to service quality.

Participants shared how envida’s homecare services positively impact their well-being:

  • Physical Health: Over 92% said our homecare services improved physical health.
  • Emotional/Mental Health: 100% said our homecare services improved emotional/mental health.
  • Independence/Safety: 100% said our homecare services helped them remain independent and safe in their home.
  • Activity Engagement: 100% said because of our homecare services, they can remain in their home, manage their health, do daily activities, and that they feel less alone and more connected.
  • Level of Care: Nearly 50% said that without homecare services, they would require an assisted living facility or a higher level of care.

These numbers mean that envida clients can access care when they need it, remain and receive care in the comfort of their homes, continue to participate in activities that bring them joy, and remain connected with others.

We also asked clients to share a story or example about how envida’s homecare services help them. They said:

  • “I am recovering from being paralyzed and home care has helped me to relearn walking and ability to do more things. I was bedridden and now I can walk with help.”
  • “I’ve been able to keep my independence, I don’t drive and having someone that does, it has helped me enjoy church, bingo, running errands and appointments. [It has] been a blessing.”

Participants also offered suggestions for improvement related to staffing. We continue to recruit and retain qualified and reliable caregivers to ensure continuity of care.

Thank you to everyone who participated in envida’s 2025 Homecare Satisfaction Survey. We look forward to your participation in fall 2026 as we continue working to better serve our community.

SAFE TO RIDE: A letter from our Executive Director

The COVID-19 virus has impacted everyone. Here at envida, we have remained open as an essential transportation and homecare business, supporting our governor’s “stay at home” order and now “safer at home.” As restrictions begin to lift, we are taking every precaution to ensure our clients and riders are safe. Most importantly, we want to communicate to our riders that it is SAFE to RIDE.

Our drivers wear gloves and masks, and we request that riders have masks or scarves. We have installed antimicrobial film on interior bus surfaces that require a high degree of hygiene. We disinfect vehicles after each rider, and we will open windows for fresh air, weather permitting. We have expanded service hours to meet riders’ needs: We are open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Our rural routes along U.S. Highway 24 and S.H. 94 have re-opened; the Calhan route operates Monday through Thursday, and the Ellicott/Yoder route operates Wednesdays and Fridays. We have also begun serving Teller County to help those with medical and behavioral health needs access healthcare providers in Colorado Springs.

For information about our transportation services, questions, or updates, please visit our transportation pages at www.envidacares.org or call our transit line at 719-633-4677.

Additionally, for our home care clients, we offer telehealth visits and our homecare attendants have been well versed on how to keep themselves and clients safe. For more information on telehealth visits, please call 719-301-6870.
