Through Medicaid’s benefit for non-emergency transportation (NEMT), Envida coordinates with agencies in Teller and Park counties to help residents access needed medical services in Colorado Springs, including behavioral health. Additional funding sources are available, please check with us to see if you qualify.

Frequently asked questions
Eligibility varies. Our transportation in Eastern El Paso County is open to the public. Within Colorado Springs, if you are unable to access or use public transit, you may qualify. We regularly transport older adults under the Older Americans Act (including in the Monument area), Health First Colorado members (Medicaid) seeking non-emergency medical transportation, and those with disabilities. Other riders may have specific circumstances that qualify as well. Please call us at 719-633-4677 to confirm.
We accept a ride donation of $3.50 in the city and a ride donation of $5 for our longer rural routes. We do not accept private pay for rides.
If you are requesting non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) through Medicaid, we may be able to extend our service area to help. Call us at 719.633.4677.
Depending on your eligibility, we may be able to help you find other transportation through our partnerships with other providers. Just call us at 719-633-4677.
- We position the bus for loading and unloading where there are no obstructions, construction, or excessive grades or slopes.
- We allow passengers with medical conditions to eat on the transit bus.
- We assist all passengers in extreme weather conditions.
- We respond to all reasonable requests. We assist all passengers, as needed.
Offices hours for envida administrative staff are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Transportation may be scheduled 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday.

Behavioral/mental health is critical to overall health. Envida’s drivers are compassionate to all riders and their needs, and in the past two years our team has felt personally moved to improve lives through transportation for this population.

We will give you a call and let you know if you are eligible to ride with us. If you are not eligible, we will help you find alternative transportation services. If you are eligible, we will provide you with your envida ID number.
